A master who has never had a master. When he was a child, during the village feasts, he studied Mondo Vercellino, Francesco Maricosu and Giovanni Dessì, the great melodeon players of the time. At the age of fifteen, he started playing the instrument and today he is considered as the most famous Sardinian melodeon player. Well known all around the world, he took part in all the most important festivals. He holds dance stages and every year, in his Irgoli, he organizes the festival of the Sardinian melodeon, an event always finishing with a traditional folk dance called ballu tundu, of course played by Totore Chessa.
