Singer and cellist, she grew up in Budapest studying the cello but with a passion for folk music, playing
various string instruments, riding the wave of great excitement that has pervaded the music scene of the
Hungarian capital since the 1970s. Eventually, she found the courage to try to combine ethnic music with
the cello. Now settled in Friuli for over twenty years, she plays the cello and the six-string electric cello
with a loop station. Her repertoire ranges from original pieces to traditional folk songs in Hungarian,
Greek, and Friulian, with a free approach to arrangements.
