Passamontagne Due adopted the sounds, rhythms, melodies, and words from the border between different languages and cultures through a stylistic mix ranging from tavern songs to ethno jazz music. They used quotes and sound references that covered decades of folk music, melodies and songs that tell a story. They often hang around mountain pastures, lodges, squares, lawns, clubs and taverns singing about the mountains where people converged regardless of the border between them. They were inspired by the songs from the oral traditions between the Alps to the Pyrenees and from the Andes to the Apennines.
