SILVIO TROTTA CANTA BRANDUARDI

SILVIO TROTTA CANTA BRANDUARDI

Confessioni di un musicante is the metabolized reinterpretation of Angelo Branduardi’s music by Silvio Trotta, a musician who has always been interested in the repertoires of the great Italian singer-songwriter, in which he traces and recognizes his own great passions: Italian popular music, northern European sounds and ancient music with a medieval flavor. Around this project, a finalist for the Premio Tenco in 2019, he has managed to involve an ensemble of extraordinary musicians who would each deserve a separate presentation.
Everything is played on the declared intentions of Trotta, recognizable even in Branduardi of the pleasure of making music: Italian popular music, northern European sounds, ancient sacred and profane music and the research and recovery of that intangible cultural heritage handed down in every corner of the world.
