Fascinated by the guitar from a young age, after initial experiences in the Cordoba area, he joined the
famous group Quetral, performing extensively throughout the Argentine provinces and participating in the most famous festivals. In 1987, he moved to Turin, where he joined Umami-Raiz Latina, a project that promotes Andean and Afro-Latin American music. He continues his solo career in Turin, collaborating with prestigious Italian and South American artists such as Lalli, Stefano Giaccone, and Alberto Cesa (in the song Zamba de mi Esperanza). In a duo with concert performer Oscar Roberto Casares, he has given numerous concerts and produced recordings, showcasing the importance of the Argentine guitar. He writes pieces inspired by Atahualpa Yupanqui and the Uruguayan Alfredo Zitarrosa. He approaches Argentine tango, creating various shows before returning to Argentina, where the Festival del Quirquincho de la Piedra is dedicated to him in recognition of his efforts to spread Argentine and Latin American music and culture overseas.
