Folkest marks its 45th anniversary with some important innovations, first by returning to its first location, San Daniele del Friuli, in collaboration with Aria di Festa, which has now reached its 37th edition. A cross-cultural event where food and wine meets regional excellence, culture, good living and quality music, attracting tourists from Italy and abroad, organized by the San Daniele Ham Consortium together with the City of San Daniele, in collaboration with Sandainese merchants and traders and with Pro Loco.
For the image of this forty-fifth edition Folkest has chosen Accordi by Enzo De Giorgi, which paints a moment of music together, reminds us of the commitment of the musician, his artistic figure, his culture and the sense of the party that should not be missed. Awaiting the events of Udine with Xavier Rudd and Randy Brecker and Capodistriani with Enrico Ruggeri, after a musical journey from the mountains to the sea through twenty municipalities of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Folkest will explode in the centrality of the days between music Sandano, showcase, Folkclinic, exhibitions and meetings.
